Director of research support and publication department of Bangladesh University Grants Commission Md Fakhrul Islam has been transferred to the post of secretary of the commission.
The former secretary of the UGC Ferdous Zaman has been transferred as director of research support and publication department of the commission.
The order was issued on Sunday. Fakhrul Islam served in various positions, including joint secretary and director of the commission.聽
He obtained his master鈥檚, MPhil and PhD degrees in English from Dhaka University. He has three published books.聽聽
He received advanced training under in Malaysia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Singapore, the press release said.
