Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-Jasod president Hasanul Haque Inu and general secretary Shirin Akter on Monday demanded an end to violence against Hindus and national minorities in different parts of the country after Sheikh Hasina resigned as prime minister amid student-led mass uprising on August 5.
In a statement, they condemned the recent incidents of attacks on temples, houses and businesses of minorities across the country and demanded bringing the perpetrators to justice.
They urged their party members at all levels to stand by the national and religious minorities all over the country. They also urged the newly formed interim government to initiate effective measures to stop these attacks on minorities.
