A Rohingya youth was shot dead by miscreants in the Ukhia Rohingya camp in Cox鈥檚 Bazar on Tuesday night.
The deceased, Firoj khan, 28, was a resident of Block B-50 of 8 No Camp in Ukhia.
Shamim Hossain, officer-in-charge of Ukhia police station, said that miscreants shot Firoj and escaped, mentioning, 鈥楬e died on the spot. He was allegedly killed over dominance in the camp.鈥�
The police went to the spot and recovered the body. The body was sent to Cox鈥檚 Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
