Seven bodies of Rohingyas, including women and children, were recovered by the local people after a boat sank in the river Naf at Teknaf in Cox鈥檚 Bazar on Tuesday.
Teknaf-2 BGB battalion commanding officer Lieutenant colonel Mohiuddin Ahmed confirmed the news to 抖阴精品.
He said that seven bodies of Rohingyas were found in the Naf river of Teknaf. Local people recovered the bodies and buried them.
Fariha Yasmin, a reserved member of Ward No 7, 8 and 9 of Sabrang Union Parishad, said that four bodies were recovered from Shahpari Island Jetighat area of Naf river and one body from the seashore adjacent to Marine Drive in the west island. On the other hand, two bodies were recovered from Leda of Hnila union of the upazila.
