The Dhaka WASA provided around 18,000 bottles of 'Shanti' drinking water to the flood-affected people, said a press release.
The donation includes 1500 bottles of 250ml water, 8 thousand 100 bottles of 500ml units, 5 thousand 500 bottles of 1 liter, 2 thousand 250 bottles of one and a half liters, 300 bottles of two liters, 200 bottles of 5 liters of water.
Wasa delivered the water at the Dhaka University's TSC relief collection programme organised by the anti-discrimination student movement.
Engineer AKM Shahid Uddin, managing director of Dhaka WASA, said that this initiative of Dhaka WASA will continue for the flood victims.
