The American International University-Bangladesh鈥檚 three faculty members have been recognised on the Stanford University and Elsevier鈥檚 Top 2 per cent Scientists Worldwide List for 2024, said a press release on Monday.
Mathematics department professor at the AIUB Mohammed Jashim Uddin, computer science department associate professor Muhammad Firoz Mridha, and electrical and electronic engineering department professor Nowshad Amin have all received this remarkable honour for their exceptional contributions to scientific research and innovation.
Ishtiaque Abedin, founder member of the board of trustees at the AIUB, extended heartfelt congratulations to the faculty members, acknowledging their outstanding achievements and commitment to excellence.
He said that their inclusion on this globally recognised list underscored the dedication, expertise, and innovation they had demonstrated in their respective fields.聽 This recognition further solidifies the AIUB鈥檚 position as a leading institution committed to advancing knowledge and driving impactful research, he added.
