
The administrator of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Md Hafizur Rahman, on Thursday urged the business community to make logical profit for keeping stable the country’s commodity market.
‘Due to natural calamities, including floods, the price of daily commodities had increased slightly. But now, the prices have increased abnormally which is uncomfortable for mass people,’ he said while exchanging views with retailers and wholesalers of daily commodities at the FBCCI Motijheel office in Dhaka, said a press release.
Hafizur urged the business community to work together to ensure fair prices of the essentials.
Among others, the FBCCI secretary general Md Alamgir, director of Bangladesh Competition Commission Umme Binte Salam and organising secretary of the Consumers Association of Bangladesh Syed Mijanur Raham spoke on the occasion.
