Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief on Saturday provided 11 aerial platform ladder vehicles to Fire Service and Civil Defence, said a press release.
Adviser to the ministry Faruk-e-Azam was present as chief guest at the ceremony held at Purbachal Multipurpose Training Complex of the Fire Service.
Major General Md Nahid Asghar, managing director of Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory Limited and Brigadier General Muhammad Zaheed Kamal, director general of Fire Service were present as special guests on the occasion, which was presided over by Md Kamrul Hasan, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief secretary.
