Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University administration on Wednesday distributed sports items, including chess and ludo, among the injured, who are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, in the July-August mass uprising.
BSMMU鈥檚 pro-vice-chancellors professor Md Abul Kalam Azad (administration), professor Md Mujibur Rahman Hawlader (research and development) and treasurer professor Nahreen Akhtar played with the patients after distribution, said a press release on Thursday.
BSMMU director (hospital 鈥� additional charges) Hasnat Ahsan Sumon, assistant director Md Azizur Rahman, among others, were present.
On Tuesday, BSMMU vice-chancellor professor Md Shahinul Alam visited the injured on the fourth floor of the cabin block at the hospital, spoke with them and inquired about their treatment.
