Content creator Nuruzzaman Kafi鈥檚 home in Kolapara, Patuakhali, has been completely burned down in an arson attack, fire service said on Wednesday.
Mohammad Elias Hossain, Kolapara Fire Service station officer, said, 鈥楿pon receiving news of the fire, we quickly rushed to the spot at about 2:15am. We managed to bring the fire under control quickly using all our resources. Fortunately, everyone in the house is safe and unharmed.鈥�
Nuruzzaman Kafi鈥檚 father, Maulana Mohammad ABM Habibur Rahman, stated, 鈥楳iscreants set our house on fire. This was done with the intention of harming us. We demand a thorough investigation and justice.鈥�
Neighbour Wali Ullah Imran added, 鈥楾his was entirely planned as the door was locked from the outside. Everyone came out wearing just their clothes.鈥�
Kafi鈥檚 house is located at village Rajpara in Kolapara. He has recently been a subject of discussion on social media.
