At least 30 people were injured when a bus carrying wedding guests fell into a roadside ditch in Bhobukdia area of Nagarkanda upazila on Dhaka-Barishal highway on Friday night.
Sub-inspector Mamun of Bhanga highway police said that the accident occurred at about 10:30pm when the bus was heading towards Faridpur, leaving 30 people injured.
Fire service and highway police personnel conducted rescue operation till midnight.
Some of the critically injured passengers were taken to a hospital.
