
Two Indian nationals were arrested by the Border Guard Bangladesh on Sunday for illegal entry into Bangladesh through the border area.
BGB-60 Sultanpur Battalion arrested the duo from Burichang upazila of the district, said commander of BGB-60 battalion Lieutenant Colonel Md Ziaur Rahman in the afternoon.
The arrested are Sanjit Deb Barma, 30, and Bimal Deb Barma, 23, of Konaban village under Madhupur police station in Sepahijala district, India.
Ziaur Rahman said that the arrested Indian citizens were handed over to Kasba police station in Brahmanbaria for further legal action.
