A bank official died falling off the rooftop of a three-storey building at Shilpa Para of Kanchannagar under Fatikchhari in Chattogram on Tuesday.
The deceased, Mohammad Abul Hashem, 57, manager of Grameen Bank in Kanchannagar Branch, was a resident of Indrar Char area under Debidwar in Cumilla.
Hashem accidently fell from the rooftop of his rented house and died on the spot, said Nur Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Fatikchhari police station.
