Pirojpur Science and Technology University welcomed the Bengali new year-1432 through various events on Monday.
Vice-chancellor of the university Md Shahidul Islam inaugurated a procession in front of the administrative building to celebrate Pahela Baishakh, said a press release.
Later, a cultural programme was organised with the participation of the university鈥檚 teachers and students.
All teachers, students, officers and employees of the university, including journalists from Pirojpur, were present.
