Chandpur district Chhatra Kalyan Parishad at Dhaka University DAKATIA got a new executive committee for the 2024-25 term with Mithu Chandra Shil as president and Rasel Hossian Riaz as general secretary.
On Thursday, the duo leaders were elected by direct vote of the organisation鈥檚 advisory board members in DAKATIA executive committee election-2024, said a press release.
New president Mithu of Chandpur Sadar upazila is a 2023-24 academic session student of DU鈥檚 Japanese Studies department. Secretary Rasel of Hajiganj upazila is a 2017-18 session student of Urdu department in the same university.
Among others, DAKATIA鈥檚 advisory board members Fayez Ullah Manik, Mahmud Rasel, Kawsar Hamid, Abu Sufian, Sarkar Zahir Raihan, Badsha Shawon, Anphal Sarkar Paman, Shah Paran Khan, Borhan Uddin, Javed Khan, Siddique Mohsin Patwary, Nizam Uddin, Baha Uddin, Zaheer Khan, Lutfar Rahman Saqib, Sharif Hossain, Hasan Jahangir Sujan, Abdur Razzaq Khan, Rasel Hossain, Saiful Islam Roni, Abdullah Shamim, Abdul Quader Shimul, Fahim Mantashir Mahmud, Rakibul Hasan and Mahbub Alam were present in the election.
DAKATIA has been working for the welfare of DU students from Chandpur district with 鈥楤rotherhood, Education and Progress鈥� slogan since its inception.
