Bangladesh will play their Group I return-leg of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup 2027 joint qualifiers against Lebanon at a neutral venue in Qatar on June 11.

The match will begin at 10:00pm Bangladesh Standard Time at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, according to the FIFA official website.

Bangladesh and Australia have played their home games in their respective countries, while Lebanon and Palestine have hosted their opponents at neutral venues across Middle Eastern countries as a result of Israel’s ongoing invasion of Gaza.

Bangladesh, who drew 1-1 against Lebanon in Dhaka on November 21, 2023, will finish their qualification round-2 campaign by hosting Australia in Dhaka and facing Lebanon in Qatar on June 6 and 11, respectively.

Bangladesh, who are already out of the qualifiers’ third round race, are currently at the bottom of the table with one point from four games after losing 0-7 to Australia and drawing 1-1 with Lebanon before losing 0-5 away and 0-1 at home to Palestine.
