An agreement between the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority was signed at CA Bhaban in the capital Dhaka on Thursday, said a press release.
The objective of this agreement is to provide access to the Document Verification System to the BPPA to verify audited financial statements of tender-participants鈥� in the Electronic Government Procurement System.
BPPA chief executive officer Md Shoheler Rahman Chowdhury and ICAB CEO Shubhashish Bose signed the agreement.
Among others, ICAB president Mohammed Forkan Uddin was present in the signing ceremony.
