Tahmina Afroz has been re-elected chairperson of Takaful Islami Insurance Limited for the year 2024-25 during the company鈥檚139th board meeting held on August 10, said a press release.
In the meeting, Emdadul Hoque Chowdhury (Emdad) was re-elected vice-chairman for the period.
Tahmina Afroz is a director of Anwer Khan Modern Medical College and Hospital, Modern Holdings Limited, Hazi Shakhawat Anwara Eye Hospital, Marry Gold Holdings Limited and Modern Diabetic Centre. Emdadul Hoque Chowdhury is chairman of Kattali Textile Limited and managing director of DN Securities Limited, Lucky Shipping and Lucky Corner.
