Thespian Mamunur Rashid delivered a lecture on crisis in culture at the Riddhi Gallery in Mirpur recently, said a press release.
Mirpur Cultural Unity Forum organised the lecture session to make people aware of crisis in culture nowadays.
Around 100 people participated in the lecture session.
Bengali culture and language have immense strength. Cultural activists can play a role in building a humane society, said Mamunur Rashid.
Mirpur Cultural Unity Forum general secretary Mahabub Alam Shaheen said that the forum would regularly organise similar programmes on culture in the future.
