The judges of the Miss Bangladesh Beauty Pageant 2024 picked up the top 16 contestants of the beauty pageant, said a press release on Tuesday.
The beauty pageant organisers informed that in the audition, 200 candidates, selected from thousands, presented handmade recycled do it yourself crafts, centring around the theme of environmental sustainability.
Fashion designer and event planner, Tootli Rahman, international stylist a yoga trainer Minna Svinhufvud, director of growing together Julia Wesemann, model and actor Khaled Hossain Chowdhury and chairman of Miss Bangladesh Foundation Meghna Alam were judges of the audition round.
Meghna Alam, chairman of the Miss Bangladesh Foundation, said that the motto of the beauty pageant was 鈥楻ebuilding and Rebranding Bangladesh Globally鈥�.聽
The grand finale will be held on October 4 at the Le Meridian in Dhaka.
Through this initiative, the Miss Bangladesh organisation aims to not only showcase the intelligence and beauty of Bangladeshi women but also to rebrand our nation as a leader in sustainable development, the press release added.
