
Leaders of the Socialist Party of Bangladesh on Saturday at a protest rally in Dhaka called on the world community to be vocal against Israeli attacks on Lebanon and stop killing Lebanese people.
The SPB organised the rally in front of the National Press Club where party general secretary Bazlur Rashid Firoz said that after Gaza Israeli armed forces were leading attacks and killing people in Lebanon and killed more than 700 people there.
He called on the international community to be vocal against the Israeli attacks and save the people of Lebanon.
Nikhil Das, in-charge of Dhaka city unit who chaired the rally called on the United Nations to take steps to expel Israel from the UN.
The rally was followed by a protest procession that paraded different city roads.
