The Ganosamhati Andolan, a partner of Ganatantra Mancha, on Friday sought implementation of spirits of the recent students and people movement that ended fascist rule of the Sheikh Hasina government on August 5.
The Gazipur district unit of the party organised a condolence meeting at party鈥檚 district office, where central chief coordinator Zonayed Saki said that the interim government led by Muhammad Yunus was formed on August 8 after victory of the students and people movement after sacrifice of more than 800 students and people.
He called on all the pro-movement political parties to be united for implementation of sprits of the movement for establishing voting and democratic rights of the people.聽聽聽聽
After victory of the students and people movement, fascist rule of Sheikh Hasina government ended, Zonayed Saki said.
He also called on the interim government to take immediate steps to control the anarchies in some garment factory in Gazipur and other places in the name of labour movements.
Chaired by convener of party鈥檚 Gazipur district unit Amzad Hossain, central leader Monir Uddin Pappu, Dipok Roy, district leaders Liton Hossain, Fazlul Haque Faroque and others spoke at the commemoration meeting.
