The Socialist Party of Bangladesh on Friday condemned vandalism and attempted theft of the party鈥檚 signboard at its central office in the capital鈥檚 Segun Bagicha area.
SPB general secretary Bazlur Rashid Firoz in a statement protested at the incident, urging legal action against the unidentified attackers.
According to the statement, on the night of April 10, a group of unidentified individuals attempted to dismantle and remove signboards of both the BASAD and Vanguard offices, located on the fifth and sixth floors of a building at Segun Bagicha.
In the face of protest by SPB activists from the building, the attackers fled with the signboard of Vanguard office.聽
Firoz also urged the government and law enforcement agencies to ensure safety and security of all political party offices across the country.
