Theatre troupe Desh Natok staged its production titled Nityapuran at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka on Wednesday.
After the BSA authority stopped the 127th show of the play halfway for security concerns on November 2, the theatre troupe considered the show as 127.5th.聽
The play, written and directed by Masum Reza, revolves around Ekalavya, a character from the epic Mahabharata.
In Nityapurana, Ekalavya surpasses all greatest warriors, including Arjuna, and questions the dignity of the pandavas and the society they have built to protect themselves and their pride.
