Bangladesh Garment Sramik Samhati on Saturday formed a 31-member central committee electing Taslima Akhter as president and Mizanur Rahim Chowdhury as general secretary for two years.
The committee was formed at a council session of the organisation鈥檚 two-day third national conference inaugurated on Friday in front of the National Museum in Shahbagh in Dhaka
Others office-bearers of the organisation are vice-presidents Anjan Das and Nurul Islam, organising secretary Ziadul Islam, assistant general secretary Prabir Saha and finance secretary Mahbub Iran.
