TikTok has announced launch of enhanced features to its Family Pairing tool in the Bangladesh region, said a press release.
The updates include ‘Time Away Scheduling,’ which allows parents to set personalised screen-free periods tailored to each family’s routine. While teens can request additional screen time, final approval remains with the parent.
Parents can also view their child’s network, including who they follow, who follows them and which accounts they have blocked.
TikTok is also preparing to roll out a proactive reporting alert feature, and so when a teenager reports content that may violate TikTok’s Community Guidelines, they will have the option to notify a trusted adult.
