Model and Miss Bangladesh Foundation chairperson Meghna Alam was taken into the Detective Branch鈥檚 custody for questioning on Wednesday.
Confirming the matter, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police鈥檚 DB chief Rezaul Karim Mallik told 抖阴精品 on Thursday that she was taken into the custody for questioning over some allegations.
He, however, denied disclosing what the allegations against Meghna were.
Meghna went live on her verified Facebook account at about 5:00pm on Wednesday, where she shared that some people identifying themselves as law enforcers from the Vatara police station tried to break into her house without a search warrant.
Terrified, Meghna asked them to leave and told them that she would go to the police station on her own.
It was seen in her Facebook live video that people broke the door of her flat and entered the house, forcefully taking her phone away.
After a while, the Facebook live video and some of her posts were deleted from her social media platform profile.
Earlier on Wednesday, the DB had denied taking her into its custody.
Vatara police station officer-in-charge Majharul Islam said that he heard that the DB had taken Meghna into its custody.
