The 23rd Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2025 (Winter Edition) organised jointly by CEMS-Global USA and CCPIT-Tex China began on Wednesday at the International Convention City Bashundhara in the capital Dhaka, said a press release.
Export Promotion Bureau vice-chairman, also Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association administrator, Anwar Hossain was present as chief guest at the opening ceremony.
Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association president Mohammad Hatem and Chinese embassy in Bangladesh commercial consulate Song Yang were present as guests of honour.
Bangladesh Investment Development Authority Executive Member (Investment Ecosystem), and Secretary Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir and Chinese embassy in Bangladesh secretary Zhang Jian were special guests.
CEMS-Global president and group managing director Meherun N Islam and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT-TEX vice-president Zhang Tao hosted the inaugural event.
This international exhibition is being held from January 15-18 showcasing top manufacturers, suppliers and industry professionals from across the globe. The exhibitions are open to business visitors upon registration every day from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
