Engineer Md Rafiqul Islam Choubey has recently joined the western region of Bangladesh Water Development Board as additional director general.聽
Before joining as additional DG of the BWDB on February 11, he served as chief monitoring engineer of the board, said a press release on Sunday.
He obtained his bachelor鈥檚 degree in civil engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 1991. He joined the BWDB as assistant engineer in 1993.
He served in various important offices of the board.
He participated in various seminars and trainings in the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Australia, France, Switzerland, South Korea, China and Vietnam.
He is also life member of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh.
