The Permanent Court of Arbitration, an intergovernmental organisation to provide a variety of dispute resolution services to the international community, has appointed Appellate Division former justice Moyeenul Islam Chowdhury as its member.
On April 23, PCA secretary general Marcin Czepelak sent a greeting message over the recent appointment of Moyeenul, who is now serving as the president of the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearance, said a press release of the commission on enforced disappearance issued on Friday.
Moyeenul is also the convener of the National Review Committee for evaluating treaties of the Energy and Mineral Resource Division.
