Bangladesh interim government chief adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus held a meeting with the members of the National Consensus Commission at the State Guest House Jamuna in Dhaka on Monday.

In the meeting, the National Consensus Commission reviewed progress of the ongoing talks with the political parties.


Head of the commission and chief adviser Prof Yunus chaired the meeting.

The meeting discussed the reform process in detail, said a press release of the Chief Adviser鈥檚 Press Wing.

Commission vice-chairman Professor Ali Riaz informed the head of the commission about the discussions that have already been held with the political parties.

The chief adviser gave guidance on the next course of actions of the commission.

Commission members Badiul Alam Majumder, Iftekharuzzaman, Justice Emdadul Hoque and Safar Raj Hossain were present.

Law adviser Asif Nazrul, industries and public works adviser Adilur Rahman Khan and chief adviser鈥檚 special assistant Monir Haidar also joined the meeting.
