Finance adviser Salehuddin Ahmed on Tuesday said that the country was no more dependent on the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
He made the comment after a meeting of the advisory council on government purchases at the Bangladesh Secretariat.
The finance adviser arrived in the country on Tuesday morning after attending the IMF- Wb joint meeting in the US capital Washington.
