Photographer Md Nazmul Hossain will publish his photo story titled The Sea in Durga鈥檚 Eyes on his Facebook page on Friday celebrating Durga Ashtami 2024.
The photo story, jointly produced by Mr Momentwala and Together We Can, was captured on beaches in Cox鈥檚 Bazar while renowned actress Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed portrayed the character of Durga.
The fourth edition of the album will feature a single photo story comprising 24 photographs showing Durga as the sea.
鈥楾he project begins with a simple idea, honouring other religions followed by our neighbours. If we do not honour them, we will not be able to make an inclusive society,鈥� said Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed.聽
鈥業 grew up in an environment of harmony in my childhood, even at my university. As an artist I am also inspired by adoring women through Durga Puja,鈥� added Nawshaba.聽聽聽聽聽
The album will be uploaded on the Facebook page of Mr Momentwala at 5:00pm to celebrate Durga Ashtami, said Md Nazmul Hossain.聽聽聽聽聽
鈥楾he series not only shows the power of women but also focuses on contemporary issues of society. This year we also promote keeping the environment clean of the seashore through this photo story,鈥� said Nazmul.
Nazmul and Nawshaba have been creating photo stories for the past four years.
