The Terracotta Creatives paid tribute to the working class by organising a street exhibition at Satmasjid Road in Dhanmondi, Dhaka on Wednesday, said a press release.

The exhibition titled ‘12th Rongottor Art Exhibition’ was organised observing May Day.


Terracotta Creatives started its journey in 2012. It comprises people who are passionate about art, photography, filmmaking, writing and new media. It has been working to make art more accessible to the common public.

The exhibition featured a collection of 36 artworks, including paintings and photographs.

Artists Amitab Sarker, AFM Moniruzzaman Shipu, Asaduzzaman, Ashikul Islam Rahat, Jahid Jamil, Mahbub Zamal Shamim, Neloy Hossain, Tajlin Akhter and Tanim Rahman; and photographers Abdul Momin, Abinash Samundha, Abir Abdullah, Abtahi Rahman, Arshad Ron, Asif Farid, Hafizur Rahman Khan, Hasan Saifuddin Chandan, Mamunur Rashid, Md Abu Rasel, Md Enamul Kabir, Md Main Uddin, Md Saiful Amin, Mrittika Kamal, Pablo Khaled, Rahul Talukder, Sabina Yesmin, Shafiqul Alam Kiron, Snigdha Zaman, Sourav Sarker, Syed Latif Hossain, Rehnum Tishad, Uzan Rahman and Zia Raihan participated in the exhibition.

Ruling Awami League lawmaker Ferdous Ahmed and adviser of Terracotta Creatives professor Mesbah Kamal were present as special guests at the event.
