The two-day art exhibition of Anoosha Amreen Khan and Alveena Tabassum Khan titled Beauty of Nature concluded at the Safiuddin Shilpalay of Dhanmondi in the capital.
The exhibition featured 40 paintings, which were created on acrylic on canvas between 2020 and 2024. 聽
The twin sister, students of Class VII, displayed nature, landscape, forest and waterfalls on canvas. Most of the images of the artists were inspired from photographs found on the internet.
鈥榃e regularly practice drawing and painting but when we find holidays we work on canvas and paint our dreams,鈥� said Anoosha Amreen Khan, adding that they used to explore and collect beautiful photographs on the internet.
Alveena Tabassum Khan said that they dreamt to visit all of the beautiful places like waterfalls, mangrove forest, and seashore and crops fields.
鈥榃e have to be careful to keep clean and peaceful our environment,鈥� she mentioned.
Former Dhaka University professor of fine arts Abul Barq Alvi inaugurated the exhibition on Saturday.
