An 18-day group art exhibition titled Disquietous began at Kalakendra at Lalmatia in the capital on Friday.

The exhibition, curated by Parsa Sanjana Sajid, is displaying photographs, masks, paintings, books, audio and installations.

Seven artists Wree, Tanvir, Sumana Akter, Sheena Maria Piedade, Ruxmini Reckvana Q Choudhury, Nupur Podder and Durdana Farid created multimedia and visual artworks, reflecting the possibilities and interoperability of exchange and translocation.

The artists interpret gender and technology spaciously – with location, expression, activity in mind and as a tool, a medium, a staging ground, an influence, a relational arena.

A yearlong online discussion on technology, gender, feminism, and the digital social space, Wakilur Rahman and Efat Razowana Reya are in the curatorial team of the exhibition.

The Meye Network founder Trishia Nashratan spoke on the inaugural day of the exhibition, which will end on December 9.Â
