Bangladesh tennis players’ Kabbo Gayan and Akash Hossain advanced to the boys’ singles quarter-finals of the ITF Asia Under-14 Development Championship 2025 after beating their respective rivals in the round of 16 in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Tuesday.
Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan player Kabbo defeated Chanthavong P of Laos by 6-0, 6-1 sets while Akash of National Tennis Complex earned a 7-2, 7-5 set win against Eason Lim of Brunei.Ìý
In the quarter-finals, Kabbo will face Matthew Tay of Singapore while Akash will take on Pattiyage Peiris of Sri Lanka.
